Today we were going to try and fit in the Science Center before we left. Sam loves interactive science displays and we heard it was terrific. It was! After packing and leaving our bags at the hotel for a driver to pickup later we caught a taxi and got there right when it opened. We were able to spend two hours and go through several of the exhibits. They had one amazing one which was a huge inflatable called the Human Body. You begin by climbing through the mouth and through the larynx. Along the way they are telling you what each part of the body does and why it is important. It takes you through the heart and lungs, stomach, brain, intestine,… and even out the end of body. It was so awesome and informative, loved it! Sam loved doing all the interactive displays in the Sound Exhibit and Aerodynamics Exhibits. Even came up with some ideas for next year’s science fair. You could spend two days going through it all, so informative and so many hands on learning displays and science projects.
We were picked up at the museum and shuttled over to the airport where we caught our flight to Manila. Excited to meet Allie and Riley, my niece and her husband. Riley served his LDS Mission here 5 years ago and hasn’t been back. His parents are also joining us. Arriving in Manila I was all psyched up to pickup our rental car but the hotel sent a car for us. It was pitch black, not sure where the moon went and lots of construction so probably good that they did pick us up. They coordinated another van for us to be driving to Baguio since they were concerned the one we were renting wasn’t going to have enough power and “wasn’t going to make it”. Well, they know I am guessing and they got us a better price on one and so we will take it!
We had dinner in the room with Allie, Riley, Klane and Amber and then also one of Riley’s mission companions and his girlfriend. They had just spent the day driving around Manila which they said was exhausting - maybe 7 hours in the car. That makes me think good thing after the temple tomorrow that we will hit the road to Baguio. We all had dinner in our room which had nice table and gave us a chance to get caught up and get our plan for the week.

Tornado Simulator!
Human Body Experience was so cool and clever
The Sound Exhibit, and yes we were the only ones in it, at the Science Center. So many cool interactive experiments involving sound wavesa and lengths and sound machines
Look for this in next year's science fair in PC :)

The Tesla machine making electricity during one of the shows at the Science Center
Climbing into the Human Body through the mouth and will end up coming out the large intestine ...haha
