The little huts that we stayed in... really cool on the inside
Breakfast at the Crater Lodge was perfect
Maasai looking after his herd. Taking them from the village we visited down inside the crater to where they can drink
Our host inside this man's Maasai village where he lives with his brothers
Maasai women have the scratch marks on their faces which shows they have been circumcised. They are the ones that also build the huts and fetch the water and take care of the babies. The small children and men tend to the cattle and goats. Maasai also still practice plural marriage.

 4 x 4 sandals
Women trying to show us how to wear and rock and the necklace- it's all in the shoulders
Yvette heading off the checkout another hut "Holler if you need me" we called to her as she was being escorted off by herself ...
This Maasai woman had us into her hut. It is two rooms, one for the children and one for her. She cooks over this fire and their primary foods are milk, blood from the cattle and meat from the cattle

A Masaai woman and her child outside her hut
One of the little kids stood up and recited their numbers for us
The kids wanted us to comesit with them at their desks

Sunrise from our room at the Crater Lodge

 Sam chasing zebra

 Hippos, zebras, buffalos
 Wart Hogs having a standoff
 Ladies lounging
 Big hippos lounging
Fun to see the hyenas looking after their babies, they kept carrying them back to their den and then they kept escaping
Cool to come across this lion just exhausted and full from his buffalo breakfast
The jackal made his move, but the lion was checking him out. Hyenas are waiting to come in.

 Looking into the Ngorongoro Crater

Enjoying a tasty lunch back at the Crater Lodge
 Baboon baby

 Maasai market
Note the Hilary Clinton stand :)

Herds of elephants at Lake Manyara

This elephant was injured and walking all by himself :(

 Baboon troop

 Hammerhead
Sweet digs- inside our tree house room. Could hear monkeys all night long outside our room in the trees.

Have to call an escort to take us to dinner. No walking alone in the bush after dark. I am ok with that! Liking that our Maasai escort has his spear too.
Dinner inside the boma - great meal and great ambiance
